It has been some time that my Instagram images are having minimal people in my mobile photography.
Adding to that sort of photography, I have used hashtag #5Secs2Shoot, not a popular one’ though.
The hashtag #5Secs2Shoot simply refers to “five seconds to shoot” or capture a shot with a mobile camera within seconds and its framing.
The shorter, the better, still.
Collectively, I have taken 38 original mobile photographs. I hope to add on more.
The acronym defined for a mobile photographer who has eyed on an instance of chances to compose a shot within or less than 5 seconds. Action has to be quick and nimble.
#5Secs2Shoot aims as any movable subjects, preferably people, small, tiny, if not, large and prominent. Definitely not any mechanical object such as a pendulum.
In photography, the smallest thing can be a great subject.
The little human detail can become a leitmotiv.
– Henri Cartier-Bresson
On the very moment of capturing the shot, this action would have already reduced to a much faster timing, like say, 1 second to snap.
It’s like one accustomed of saying: “That’s it!”
In other words, shot only has one single chance and no way it can repeat that moment.
It has to be relating to life in a realistically manner, and not a staged moment. It mustn’t be repetitive for life is not a rehearsal.
That moment! Shoot it! Once you miss it, it is gone forever.
